About
Hi, I'm Kodi — and I've been exactly where you are.
DNA at Ivy Arts Centre, Surrey, UK
I'm a classically trained actor with a focus on stage work, regional theater in particular. I trained at the Guildford School of Acting in the UK — an experience that was cut short by Brexit and sent me back to the states with a suitcase, a classical training, and a lot of figuring out to do.

I landed in Los Angeles and did what most actors do: I started from scratch. I worked my way through the LA regional theater scene, built real relationships with casting directors and theater companies, and eventually earned my AEA card — back before open access existed, when you had to earn it the long way.
After years of going contract to contract on the West Coast, I decided I wanted to expand my career across the country. I moved to Boston knowing no one. I followed the same system I'd developed in LA — EPAs, genuine relationship building, strategic material choices. Within six months of arriving, I had my first equity theater offer in the city.
That system is what I teach.

But somewhere along the way I also discovered something else: that the actors who book the work they actually want aren't the ones who fit most neatly into a type. They're the ones who know themselves so specifically, so clearly, that casting can't help but see exactly who they are and what they're right for.
I started Alignment with Kodi because I wanted to help actors get there faster than I did — with someone in their corner who could see the things that are hardest to see about yourself when you're on the inside looking out.
I work with actors who are passionate, a little overwhelmed, and ready to stop trying to fit into boxes that were never built for them. If that's you — you're in the right place.
